Am I making myself clear?

Maybe not as clear as I thought.

As I am talking to my friend about my horrible men situations he states, "sometimes diplomacy backfires and you get caught up on the wrong assumptions".

Then more wise words, "it's not worth spinning your wheels in the dirt and waiting for something to happen".
