Edmund: you don't deserve to get your heart broken

No man walks on this earth with the intentions of hurting other people, but why do we do it anyways? Even if it is against our instincts to not mistreat others we do it anyways.

On my BART ride over I read Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis which makes me feel comforted, because I have been feeling a lot of emotional pain lately. I have had better days and I have been better all together. Maybe all of the physical and verbal abuse have finally caught up to me and it has made me become a whatever the term is for opposite of a hedonist.
