While Tumblrs Down

As I sit here at Starbucks on finals week, I look out the window and its interesting that I find myself feeling a little less than hopeful for our society. I remember before, when I was more naive I saw the world as really beautiful. That beauty is beginning to be stripped down. I have always known how cruel the world can be, but it was only until now that all of the puzzle pieces from witnessing poverty in Indonesia and being in a privileged society in the United States has fit together to understand the way our world functions. Why must this be so?

Social Butterfly

People tend to associate this term as something positive, but if you have been conditioned to be this way it becomes draining embodying this persona and the sad part is that it comes on naturally when you see people. Its a social obligation that you can't take back.

Sense of Apathy

To start the new school yr is not a good thing.

Heat

For some this heat wave can be an irate, but for me it brings great nostalgia.
It reminds me of Southern California beaches and AC'd rooms.
The sun makes it so much easier to wake up in the morning.
There are just too many memories to recall.
